What this covers

This policy explains what information Helix Ventures, LLC collects when you use thinkhelix.com, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what control you have over it. It covers this website. It does not cover the separate services we operate for clients under contract.

We are a business-to-business agency. We are not trying to build a profile of you. The data we collect is what we need to run the site and respond when you contact us.

What we collect

Information you give us

When you submit a form on this site, we collect the fields you complete. Typically that is your name, email address, company, and whatever you write in the message field. If you email or call us, we keep that correspondence.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: pages viewed, time on page, approximate location derived from IP address, referring site, browser, and device type. This comes from Google Analytics 4 and is used in aggregate to understand which content is useful.

What we do not collect

• We do not collect payment information through this website.
• We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
• We do not buy personal information about you from data brokers to enrich what you submit here.

How we use it

• To respond to you. If you fill out a form, we use your contact details to reply and to continue the conversation.
• To route your inquiry. Our forms ask what kind of organization you represent so your message reaches the right person on our team.
• To improve the site. Aggregate analytics tell us which pages are working and which are not.
• To meet legal obligations. Retaining records where law or a contract requires it.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to target you with ads on other websites.

Who processes data on our behalf

We use a small number of service providers. Each processes data only to provide their service to us:

• Netlify — website hosting and form handling.
• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate website analytics.
• Apollo.io — our customer relationship management system. Contact details you submit through a form are stored here so we can manage the conversation.
• Microsoft 365 — email and business productivity.

We may also disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics 4 to distinguish visitors and understand site usage. These are analytics cookies, not advertising cookies.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking them will not prevent you from using this site.

We honor Global Privacy Control signals where your browser sends them.

How long we keep it

• Form submissions and correspondence: retained while there is an active or prospective business relationship, and for up to three years after the last contact.
• Analytics data: retained per Google Analytics 4 default settings.
• Records we must keep by law or contract: retained for the required period.

You can ask us to delete your information sooner. See below.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Know what personal information we hold about you
• Request a copy of it
• Ask us to correct it
• Ask us to delete it
• Opt out of any sale or sharing of it (we do neither)
• Not be discriminated against for exercising these rights

To make a request, email helix@thinkhelix.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 45 days. We may need to verify your identity before acting, which usually means confirming you control the email address associated with the information.

If you are in the EU or UK, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Form submissions are transmitted encrypted. Access to our CRM and email systems is restricted to the people who need it and protected by multi-factor authentication.

No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you directly. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
