Our commitment
We build websites for a living, so we hold our own to the same standard we'd hold a client's. Accessibility isn't a checkbox at the end of a build for us — it's part of how the page gets made. That said, we don't claim to be perfect, and this page tells you exactly where we stand.
Our target standard is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA — the benchmark referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and by Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act.
Conformance status
thinkhelix.com partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA.
"Partially conforms" is the standard term for a site that meets most, but not all, of the criteria. We are actively working through the remaining items and reviewing the site on an ongoing basis. We'd rather tell you that plainly than post a claim we can't back up.
What we've done
Accessibility measures currently in place across the site:
- Semantic structure — pages use proper landmarks and a logical heading order, so assistive technology can navigate and skim them the way sighted visitors do.
- Keyboard access — all navigation, links, buttons, and form fields are reachable and operable without a mouse, with a visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
- Skip navigation — a "skip to main content" link at the top of each page lets keyboard and screen reader users bypass the menu.
- Text alternatives — meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology so they don't add noise.
- Color contrast — text and interface colors are checked against the 4.5:1 minimum for body copy and 3:1 for large text and interface elements. Color is never the only way information is conveyed.
- Labeled forms — every input has a programmatically associated label, and errors are described in text rather than by color alone.
- Responsive and resizable — content reflows to a single column on small screens and remains readable when zoomed to 200% without loss of content or function.
- Reduced motion — animations and scroll effects are suppressed for visitors whose system preferences request reduced motion.
- Descriptive links — link text describes its destination instead of relying on "click here" or "read more."
- Accessibility in scope — accessibility requirements are part of our internal build checklist and QA process, not an afterthought.
Known limitations
Despite our efforts, some parts of the site are not yet fully accessible. We're being specific here on purpose:
- Third-party embeds — scheduling widgets, embedded video players, analytics tools, and social feeds are controlled by their vendors. We select accessible vendors where we can, but we can't guarantee code we don't own. If an embedded tool blocks you, contact us and we'll complete the task with you directly.
- Video captions and transcripts — captions are not yet available on every video across the site. We are working through the back catalog. If you need a transcript for a specific video, ask and we'll provide one.
- Older PDFs and downloads — some legacy case studies and one-pagers were produced before our current standards and may not be fully tagged for screen readers. We will supply an accessible alternative format on request.
- Complex charts and data visuals — some performance graphics may not yet have a full text or table equivalent. We're adding those as we refresh each page.
Tell us about a barrier
If you hit something on this site you can't use, we want to hear about it — it's the fastest way for us to fix it. Please include the page address, what you were trying to do, and the browser and assistive technology you were using, if you know.
We aim to respond within 3 business days and to resolve confirmed barriers within 30 days, or to provide the information or service you needed through another channel in the meantime.

How we assess this site
We evaluate thinkhelix.com using a combination of methods, because no single one catches everything:
- Automated testing — axe DevTools and Lighthouse accessibility audits run against templates and key pages.
- Manual keyboard testing — every page walked end to end using only a keyboard, confirming focus order, focus visibility, and that no element traps focus.
- Screen reader spot checks — VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, and NVDA on Windows.
- Contrast verification — brand and interface color pairings checked against WCAG contrast ratios rather than assumed.
- Zoom and reflow — pages checked at 200% zoom and at a 320 CSS pixel viewport width.
Automated tools catch only a portion of accessibility issues, which is why manual testing is part of every review. This statement was self-assessed by Helix Ventures. It has not been independently audited or certified by a third party, and we will say so here if that changes.
Technical information
Accessibility of this site relies on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The site is built as static HTML and is designed to remain readable and navigable in current versions of Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge, on desktop and mobile, when used with assistive technology.
Where JavaScript enhances an experience, core content and contact paths remain available without it wherever technically possible.
Alternative ways to reach us
If any part of this website prevents you from getting information about our services or from contacting us, you are not stuck with the website. Call or email us and a person will help you directly — including walking through service details, pricing, scheduling, or completing a form on your behalf. There is no cost or disadvantage to using this route.
If we don't resolve it
We would much rather fix a problem than have you escalate it, so please give us the chance first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may file a complaint with the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, which enforces the ADA. Information about that process is available at ada.gov.
